Melchsee-Frutt
The holiday resort of Melchsee-Frutt is sunny, snow-sure and above all car-free. Visitors should consider this for their arrival. But there isn’t any problem, because the region provides free parking sides and for travellers by train there is shuttle bus from Sarnen to Stöckalp, to the valley station of Melchsee-Frutt. The region with the two villages Melchtal and Kerns is located in a varied and scenic landscape.
The winter sports area strives with its low prices and its offerings especially towards families with children. On the one hand, children under six years can use the sports facilities gratuitously; on the other hand, there is a new Kids Park on the ski lift of Vogelbühl.
The skiing resort has a classic range of offerings: varied slopes for skiers and snowboarders, combined with ski runs for beginners.
