Ski holidays in Trentino
Skiing in Trentino is for 90% skiing in Madonna di Campiglio. For the Italians this ski resort has the same value as Cortina d’Ampezzo and is, therefore, one of the top-ski destinations in Italy.
Ski vacationists who go there know that a holiday there is a bit expensive. However, skiing is not the most important thing about a ski holiday in Trentino: reading the newspaper in a bar, going for a walk, dining out with friends and having the little ones supervised on the baby ski run are actually the main activities the Italian holiday makers prefer. Whoever want to avoied overcrowded ski runs is absolutely right here, because, many winter tourists are in fact busy with lots of other things.
The other skiing resorts in Trentino are also worth a visit: Val di Fassa Valley, Val di Fiemme Valley, Paganella, San Martino di Castrozza and Val di Sole Valley. You shoudn’t forget that there are perfectly prepared cross-country trails in most of the skiing resorts and that snowboarders are very welcome, too.
