Meran 2000, Tarscher Alm

The ski resorts around Meran are very family- friendly. Especially Meran 2000 and Tarscher Alm are very rewarding for beginners and families with children. Ulten Valley, however, is a more challenging ski resort.

Side note: Meran llies at an altitude of  325 m above sea level and it is famous for its healing mineral springs and its subtropical microclimate.

Meran 2000

Meran 2000 is the name of the ski resort just above Meran. The 2000 m high mountain can easily be reached by cable car, which starts in Hafling.

Tarscher Alm

Tarscher Alm is the ski resort of Latsch, situated 30 km from Meran in Vinschgau Valley. The ski resort offers wide and moderately steep ski runs, ideal for ski-classes und kids, but also for pure fun skiers.
