Alta Pusteria
The sun is a very welcome guest in the Alta Pusteria. Thanks to the high altitude and the efficient work with a
rtificial snow, the sun has virtually no negative impact on the snow conditions.
Instead of huge ski resorts skiers and snowboarders will find small, cozy areas in a magnificent mountain scenery. The possibilities for cross-country skiers and snow-shoe hikers are big. The ski center Alta Pusteria covers the area from Sillian in Austria to Prags Valley and Niederdorf.
You can find impressive slopes on Mt. Helm and on Mt. Haunold.
