The slopes of Sestrière scatter around on three areas on the left and to the right side of the pass: On one side there is Monte Sises (in 2600 m) and Monte Motta (in 2823 m) with partly very precipitous slopes and moderately severe difficulty level on the mogul slopes.
On the other hand there is the Monte Fraitève (in 2701 m) with the entrance in the "Milky Way’s" - ski carousel. On the northern-side of the slopes in the direction of Sauze d'Oulx families and young people come to Sansicario, which is connected with Cesana. From there opens up the ski resort Colle Bercia (in 2290 m), where you can go to Clavière and further on till the French Montgenèvre
