Courmayeur
Embedded between - steep mountain ridges at the end of the Aosta Valley, Courmayeur offers a many-sided and challenging snow resort.
It is mostly the wonderful location in the midst of the mighty alpine mountain scenery of the Mt. Mont Blanc which makes this village so famous and popular. But Courmayeur is also one of the oldest Italian alpine health resorts: already in 17th century was found mineral water there.
Courmayeur is not only a famous winter destination. In summer the city is a meeting point of mountaineers from all over the world, who either want to climb the 4810 m high Mont Blanc or the Aiguille du Midi (3843 m)
Besides you should know that Courmayeur is connected to Chamonix in France with the Mont Blanc-tunnel: the opportunities for active vacationers are infinitive.
