Serre Chevalier

Between Col du Prorel and Pic de l’Yret in the Haute Provence there is an extensive and interesting ski area with a powder snow district on Mount Serre Chevalier. The holiday area consists of 13 villages.

From 1995 to 1997 the region gained world-wide reputation, when the downhill-racer Luc Alphand won 3 World Cup gold medals there.
